Little Gems Tour

Be transported to a world of wonder these school holidays with a very special tour!

Your kids will embark on a new adventure as they explore the magic of opals, pearls and other amazing miracles of nature in this one hour deep dive into the World of Wonder: Margot McKinney.

They’ll take a tour of our sparkling exhibition, get hands on with real life gems and tools of the trade and even try their own hand at designing a jewellery creation with a special take home activity.

With separate sessions available for Little Gems (7–12 years old) and Teen Explorers (13–17 years old), there’s an exciting option for everyone.

Put some bling back into the holidays!

Note: While Museum facilitators inspire Little Gems and Teen Explorers, parents and carers are invited to relax in the Dome Gallery or explore the exhibition at their own leisure by purchasing a ticket here.
