Matthew Condon and Trent Dalton: Crime In Conversation

This event has now sold out.  To register for the waitlist please email rsvp@museumofbrisbane.com.au

Join Matthew Condon and Trent Dalton for a discussion about Brisbane crime.

Two celebrated Brisbane writers visit MoB in a free-ranging discussion about the inter-generational impact of Brisbane crime. Join Matthew Condon and Trent Dalton as they examine their interest in Brisbane’s brand of crime and personal histories stretching back to key players, police corruption, cover-ups, triple murders, and the real life criminal elements that inspired passages of Dalton’s debut novel, Boy Swallows Universe.

On the brink of the inquiry into the Whiskey Au Go Go firebombing, the biggest criminal inquiry in recent history, this will be a pertinent and timely discussion that will cover some of the most sensational and nefarious moments of the city’s shady past.
