Simon Cleary and Todd Fuller In Conversation

Brisbane author Simon Cleary and Sydney based artist and animator Todd Fuller are collaborating in a one-off evening at Museum of Brisbane.

Inspired by Kangaroo Point and its namesake, Simon will weave a picture with words while Todd accompanies with his deft drawing skills. The pairs’ work achieved such a startling synergy in the Storytellers exhibition that we just had to invite them to share their collaboration in person.

Facilitated by The Storytellers exhibition curator Miranda Hine, come and be part of an In Conversation that transcends words and gives you a front row seat to creativity and collaboration.

About Todd Fuller:

For ten years, Todd has been crafting hand-drawn animations that grapple with love and loss, as well as ideas of place, identity and community. Often narrative in form, these award winning works are derived from Fuller’s experiences with different communities, sites and histories. He has been awarded a number of residencies that have informed and developed his practice, including time spent at Bundanon Trust, Hill End, Grafton Regional Art Gallery, as well as international stints at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris, the British School of Rome, and recently the NG Creative Residency in Provence.
